Using the amazing Eardrill Pendulum Ratchet to generate rhythms with some noise from 266e and random melodies from 261e. Just having lots of fun.

Misunderstanding Series

I've felt in the tramp of consumerism, and sometimes i have bought more modules than my brain and time allow me to fully understand and most of the time i know i'm not using many functions on those modules or not taking profit of some nice sounds they can produce.

That's the reason why i have think in a series of improvised and recorded in one take studies (obviously they are intended to be as musical as possible) made using only one sound source, this source can be one oscillator simple or dual or any sound source, that can be processed in any way, with virtual effects or with hardware effects i.e. Filters, loopers, delays, frequency shifters, phase shifters, etc.


They are titled: Misunderstanding Series.

Going 200e

I regret i have abandoned this blog, as is a real god place for me to have a "note book" of my work, projects and why not steps forward or back.

Last february i decided to upgrade to Buchla, the original format i was thinking of when i started in the world of modular synths, but no, i don't regret of my first choice, Eurorack, as it's a constantly growing format full of creative and high quality designers.

So after three long, long months i received this picture from BEMI:

But i added some 2nd hand modules bought to a fellow wiggler and some Eardrill modules, Pendulum Ratchet, and a ModuleModule chassis with Morphun and MM-Atten. The system looks like this:

So, sleepless summer nights ahead........

Cwejman MMF-2 stereo multimode filter

Recently i received some new and amazing modules like the brand new Cwejman MMF-2, Make Noise Echophone and DPO. Only with this three monsters the pallet of sounds in my system grew in an exponential way just as the need for experimentation and exploration. So my first experiments started with Cwejman MMF-2 which is a dual stereo multimode filter, that can be use not only as a synth filter but also as a postproduction tool, because of its great quality and possibilities.

Here are some demos i made of the Cwejman MMF-2, i prefer not to talk about its features because Wowa (its creator) can talk about it better than me.

Soon I'll add another more experimental demo with this amazing filter.......

Phonogene first encounters

Ok, this new videos are a first encounter with the Make Noise Phonogene. In one i'm using the module basicaly as a sample transformer in the other phonogene is driving the clock, via EOS (end of sample)with a logic module (Plog), which is which? guess...............

Dark MAtter 02 Mix01

Ok

Whit this new mix i hope to start a post storm with one post a week at least. I'm working in two studio groups "Higgs Search" and "Dark Matter". Higgs is a search for rhythmic variations and Dark Matter is a group of studies working with timbres.

I know there will be things in common in this two groups but is a way to focus my self in certain things a don't get lost.
